Nova Scotia!

So lately, I have come to the realization of many things!
1. I will, eventually love again. Although I'm not a fan of relationships, because I just suck at them. I'm glad I'm taking chances.
2. I realize that I have many friends and family members that love me!
3. I know what I want to do with my life.

I am so excited for all the things that I'm realizing. Although, it's a scary thought... Can you believe to go into Marine Biology you NEED calculus. I'm not bad or terrible at math. But I am definitely not a fan of the idea that I will have to take math. I am however, going to take biology because I want to know the background knowledge of everything I am learning.
In my opinion, going back a year was the best thing I could ever do! I have grown so much two months. I have learned so much too. I don't want to get into gushy mushy details, but I will blog when I'm not freaking out so much about Calculus.

Buffy the BACKSIDE slayer! and some shuuuugaa :]

So as everyone knows I myself am a huge Lush fan! I love it. The smell is kind of crazy when you enter a mall, or walk near to a street, but nonetheless - I love the store. I have been hearing many different opinions about it. So I had to try it myself, along with the white or vanilla, whatever you call it, sugar scrub.
I had no idea, but when you buy the larger version of "Buffy" (just a bigger piece then a little square, but significantly heavier!) you get a free sugar scrub. Now, the back of my arms are a little rough, not really though. I just like to take care of my body, and to make as smooth as a baby's bottom. So! I bought both!
"Buffy," formerly known as "Buffy the Backside Slayer," is very rough, or abrasive. I hate saying "abrasive." But! OMG is it ever! You have to go very lightly over your skin, and you will feel your skin become automatically smooth! Surprisingly, you're supposed to take the ENTIRE bar into the shower and bathe with it. And it doesn't melt! Mama Mia! I was shocked. My skin is unbelievably smooth, I didn't have to use my "Heavenilli," on my skin. Boy, I can't talk this soap up enough!
Next thing I bought was... dum! dum! dum! The sugar scrub! It wasn't a purchase, but I did get it. I love it! The sugar doesn't melt in your hand right away, and! it makes your skin feel smooooooooth! And smell fab! I don't have much to say about it, but it does exfoliate and make your skin feel smooth and smell great.
I'm sorry if I am repeating myself, but this could be the BEST purchase ever!

Disney Baby!

Do you remember when you were a kid and everything was 10 times more exciting then it is now? I do, for sure. I remember every Christmas my mom and sister would take me to a play, whether is be Peter Pan or Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs. I was so hyped up by seeing the canons fly in Peter Pan, or being called up on the stage to sing with the Dwarfs, or seeing Sleeping beauty being kissed by her Prince Charming. I remember sitting to the left of the stage, second row, watching all the magic happen. I couldnt believe what magic was happening, and I was so into the entire thing. My eyes were wide and doe like, just seeing sparks fly.
And it was amazing, that when I left, that's all I could think of. I couldn't stop talking about every play I ever saw, and how caught up in the moment I still was days later.
However now, approximately ten years later, I can see a play or a movie, be in complete trance, then once I leave, I "Oo" and "Awe" over it, then I'm not as excited.
Why is it that when we grow older magic is all lost? When did we stop living in the moment, or being lost in the moment? What happened to throwing caution to the wind and being free to feel? Why is it, that as we grow old, we loose the magic that Disney instilled in us, and can we get it back ?

Straightening Irons !

Straightening your hair can be the biggest task of any girls day! You have to wash and brush your hair. Spray it with 10 pounds of product, and then straighten every hair, then secure it with a heavy hair spray.
Picking a straightening iron can be hard. And let me tell you not to waste your time with drug store straighteners unless you have REALLY thin irons. I suggest going to a mall, or your salon and buying the same one your stylist uses.
I believe that my mother has spend over $300 dollars on crappy irons, and only this year she splurged $90.00 for a Torlen Salon Series.
I lie, $72.95... which is a steal compared to what other kiosks can ask of consumers. This straightener is great! It works on long hair, thick hair, short hair, curly hair, wavy hair, and curly hair. I have proven it by using it on my sister's hair, my mothers, mine and my friends. Not only does it straighten, but you can curl and flip with it. It creates great volume and it stays for days!
It is made with ceramic plates that gives you a great shine and tourmaline. It gets hot fast, and you can turn it up to 200 degrees! It's great. Not only does the heat penetrate your hair, but it doesn't burn it. It doesn't burn your hands and it comes in a great travelling case that you pack it away with. It's thin and super light. I only have great things to say for this investment. You can find it at any beauty supply store, or your salon most likely. It's a great tool for everything.
It's definitely an essential in my beauty kit !

Life is Oh! So Busy!

So life has been busy, I'm not quite sure everyone knows how busy. I have a job, which is very demanding. Trying to obtain a new and higher position is very frustrating, but I have to work hard, and be happy all the time. Today for example, there is no time for life. I'm leaving the house at 11:30 to drop my sister to school, then by 12:15 I should be home, and then I have to leave and drop my mother to the nail salon. Then I have to go to Solution, Pharma Plus, HMV, Chapters and Gap. All preferably before 3, because then I have to pick up my mother, and she has to drop me to my vocal lessons from 4-5, then pick up my sister at four! Oh the things. After that, I am going to hang out with my friend for literally an hour :\ My life - too busy.

Goodbye - in print.

The words goodbye usually means that two people or more may not see each other for sometime. When someone says "bye," it's usually casual, said to a friend or a family member that you will see in a few hours or in the near future. But the word "Goodbye." has a deeper meaning. Usually when it is a good-bye. It will be for a long time, such as forever.
I am not going to lie when I say my boyfriend and I had recently broke up. He once told me that we should and could stay friends. That hope has been in the back of my head for a while, but that thought that it is impossible grows progressively more and more with each passing day. We were inseperable for our senior year, and we thought that's how it would always be.
But as the world knows, things change and so do people. We broke up after graduation, and I guess I haven't had time to think about it, or worry about him or not having him in my life. But when I was in the hospital today, being rushed to emergency the only thing I could think of is that he is not here to know or care.
It's a sob story, I know. But today I realize how much I put on him, and depended on him. I recently told my friend that I am going to "Floof" life away. Meaning, not worry as much, and just have fun.
To love someone, is to love them unconditionally and be together through everything. To say that you love someone and to actually mean it is something completely different. I told my friend that I wasn't going to date, just have fun. It is true that we are young, and being young is the only time to have fun. Because once you start to grow up, you being more and more occupied, things change, and there is less time for fun activities, or just meeting up with friends. I thought to myself that I don't want to go through having a broken heart, I don't feel like having strong feelings for someone especially if they are going to be thrown out eventually.
The moral of the story is: Smile. Have fun, and don't worry AS much. Take life seriously but let go of everything in the past. What's done is done. And no one can change your future but you.

Smile.Dream.Believe.Live.Laugh.

People always tell you that time will heal everything. I believe I have said this once before. And I have realized, as time passes, everyday, if I surround myself with the things I love and happy thoughts in my mind, I'll be fine. It's hard when someone breaks your heart or dies or you loose someone, and people believe that it takes a while to get over. However, that has been proven time and time again, false.
The trick is that you have to sob for about a day, and then get up and realize that you are a human. A person with emotions, and so many good qualities to share. Stop being angry, you don't have to forget but you must forgive. Forgiveness is key in life or else you are never going to live a happy life.
There is no such thing as a normal life, there is only your life. There is no standard of living, you just have to live you life as you wish and to the fullest. And whom ever you find to walk with you will stay with you forever. Because although things may get bumpy there is always someone who is willing to walk with you, and beside you.
Everyone needs to stop worrying about others and what will happen. Do not judge or be cruel. Do not hate or discriminate. Do not hold grudges and never forgive. Do not say mean words that can break down someone. Everyone should learn that nothing is true until you hear it. Take every word with a grain of rice.. not even, salt. Be happy, and enjoy what you are doing. Nothing has to be captured by pictures, but captured by your memories. Don't drink everyday, just remember to laugh and have fun. Never let anyone kill your happiness :]
