Disney Baby!

Do you remember when you were a kid and everything was 10 times more exciting then it is now? I do, for sure. I remember every Christmas my mom and sister would take me to a play, whether is be Peter Pan or Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs. I was so hyped up by seeing the canons fly in Peter Pan, or being called up on the stage to sing with the Dwarfs, or seeing Sleeping beauty being kissed by her Prince Charming. I remember sitting to the left of the stage, second row, watching all the magic happen. I couldnt believe what magic was happening, and I was so into the entire thing. My eyes were wide and doe like, just seeing sparks fly.
And it was amazing, that when I left, that's all I could think of. I couldn't stop talking about every play I ever saw, and how caught up in the moment I still was days later.
However now, approximately ten years later, I can see a play or a movie, be in complete trance, then once I leave, I "Oo" and "Awe" over it, then I'm not as excited.
Why is it that when we grow older magic is all lost? When did we stop living in the moment, or being lost in the moment? What happened to throwing caution to the wind and being free to feel? Why is it, that as we grow old, we loose the magic that Disney instilled in us, and can we get it back ?
