Picking a straightening iron can be hard. And let me tell you not to waste your time with drug store straighteners unless you have REALLY thin irons. I suggest going to a mall, or your salon and buying the same one your stylist uses.
I believe that my mother has spend over $300 dollars on crappy irons, and only this year she splurged $90.00 for a Torlen Salon Series.
I lie, $72.95... which is a steal compared to what other kiosks can ask of consumers. This straightener is great! It works on long hair, thick hair, short hair, curly hair, wavy hair, and curly hair. I have proven it by using it on my sister's hair, my mothers, mine and my friends. Not only does it straighten, but you can curl and flip with it. It creates great volume and it stays for days!
It is made with ceramic plates that gives you a great shine and tourmaline. It gets hot fast, and you can turn it up to 200 degrees! It's great. Not only does the heat penetrate your hair, but it doesn't burn it. It doesn't burn your hands and it comes in a great travelling case that you pack it away with. It's thin and super light. I only have great things to say for this investment. You can find it at any beauty supply store, or your salon most likely. It's a great tool for everything.
It's definitely an essential in my beauty kit !
